Who is he?  Has he held elective office before?  What is his background?  How is he already expected to do well?

Re: Democrat, Joe Serra making a name for himself (none / 0)

Joe Serra Ran for State Representative In Illinois's 50th District in 2006 which includes a portion of the 14th and Dennis Hasterts home town.  Although Joe did not win that election he made a name for himself and appealed to both the Republican voteres (who greatly outnumbered the Democrats) and the Democrats.

Joe is expected to do well because of his ideas for the future and his ability to bring people together.  Joe is an Fiscal conservative and Social Liberal or rather moderate which is important in this race.  Joe is a very good man, married for 18 years with six (6) children and is ethically held in high regard.

Joe Serra is currently an officer for a finance/realestate company withing the Technology Sector (wireless).

Joe is ecpected to again, appeal to both parties, which is needed in this race.  The divide between Republicans and Democrats has had a paralizing effect on America and Joe's vision is to bring all of Americas parties to the table in order to get America back on the course of leading the world in social and economic progress.
